My RV-6 has a top cruise speed of just over 200 MPH (175 knots). The cruise speed I normally use is about 190 MPH (165 knots) burning 8.5 gallons per hour of fuel for economy of about 22 mpg. It comfortably accommodates two people and their luggage. It is also a capable aerobatic airplane. With only one person aboard it has sustained a g loading of 6 and has performed loops, rolls, immelmanns, split s's, cuban eights, hammerheads, snap rolls, spins and wing overs.
